Clothes donated to op-shops serve a good cause, but you’ll never get to see them again!  Donate your clothes to our Clothes Library, and you are helping us build a collective wardrobe and a sharing society in Fremantle.

The video above is from our Pozible campaign raising funds for our warehouse fit-out.

Where your donations go

Clothes donations to Lost Property are processed and graded, before we hang them in our Clothes Library.  Some donations may not make it to the library racks, in which case we donate them to our charity partner St Patrick’s Community Centre in Fremantle.  We also repair and upcycle clothing to give it a new life of fashion for subscribing members to borrow from the Library. Finally, any clothing donations that can’t be used are recycled into textile products. All clothing donations serve a sustainable future!

Bonus Credits

As a Subscribing Member, you can earn up to 6 bonus credits when donating your clothes to the Lost Property.  Credits let you borrow a number of items from the Clothes Library at a time.  You get 6 revolving credits as a Subscribing Member, plus up to 6 bonus credits when you donate your own clothes the Clothes Library. Donations must be made to a Library staff member to be eligible for earning bonus credits.

About Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions help us pay rent and operating costs to run the Clothes Library. We have some very affordable options from only $30/month which provides unlimited exchanges of borrowed items.   Complimentary subscriptions are offered to our library volunteers.
